Ocean Grove Bridge Club cordially invites clubs in the Western Region to enter teams in the 2024 Friendly Teams event.

A big THANK YOU to Jenny Johnstone and Dot Peacock for organizing such a great event over the weekend , to Geelong Bridge Club for hosting the competition and to Mike Stokie & Margaret Glover for their hard work to keep the competition going. What a weekend, 36 pairs on Saturday and 10 teams on Sunday. 

OGBC was represented by 16 Players on Saturday Pairs event  and 7 Players as part of the Teams competition( mixed with Geelong players) .

On Wednesday afternoon November 15th Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, Governor of Victoria welcomed 160 bridge players from across Victoria to a game of bridge in the Ballroom. The occasion marked the first time the Ballroom, with a length surpassing even Buckingham Palace's Ballroom, had been set up for Bridge.
The day included players of all skill levels and from all parts of the State. This included 65 social and formal bridge clubs (listed below the photos) and a number of distinguished guests who have contributed to the game.
